The Visitors Bureau of Highland County is excited to announce the successful conclusion of the 2025 Summer Scavenger Hunt, which ran from May 1 through September 15.
This year’s scavenger hunt invited both residents and visitors to explore Highland County through more than 30 unique missions, from visiting local landmarks to discovering hidden gems across the community. Participants joined through the Goosechase app or by downloading a paper checklist from the Visitors Bureau website.
The response was overwhelming, with over 260 teams and individuals participating and submitting an incredible 1,996 photos, videos, and text answers. To be eligible for prizes, participants needed to complete at least 10 missions.

Each winner received a prize basket valued at over $100, made possible thanks to generous donations from the Visitors Bureau of Highland County and local businesses, including:
